Good afternoon lovely readers of the Goddess Blog and welcome to another week with your favorite Goddess, yesterday I was not feeling all that well so I did not get to write a blog post - but I am back to 80% of my functionality today so I decided to write a short post about a thing that has been bugging me quite a lot lately - social media.
I have grown tired and frustrated of the double standards of Instagram or Twitter influencers, so I decided to share my thoughts about it - I really hope you will enjoy the read, so let’s get right into it! :)
Let's face it - the majority of us are social media dependant on variety of things.
I mostly use it to have access to any news of the world or to browse mindlessly in order to waste some time or just - hang on social media just for the sake of it.
Things like Facebook and Instagram really changed our lives.
Unfortunately, over the last couple of years, these major social media sites such as Facebook or Twitter have abused the power that they hold in a very grotesque way.
Applications that spy on you as long as they are on your phone, conversations that can get intercepted - you name it, the social media tycoons have already done it.
And don’t get me started on the stories and reels that we watch and devour mindlessly on Instagram and Facebook - fake people showcasing fake wealth and fake beauty. It really is sickening to think just how perverse all of it is!
What do you guys think? Is social media turning us all into fake-people with fake-narratives and making us all ego-sentrical maniacs?
Would really love to hear your opinion in the comment section bellow! :)
Goddess is out for the day lovely reading souls, catch you all tomorrow!
