Volatile times in crypto

Greetings lovely readers of the Goddess Blog and welcome to the weekend - and with it, the Goddess is bringing you a post that will be crypto-related, so we will be starting off the weekend with a nice little crypto post by yours truly! I also published this post on my Ecency blog-page, so for any of you who are a part of the Ecency project, be sure to find your one and only Goddess and upvote the posts that you prefer and like - and for the rest of you lovely readers of the Goddess blog, sit back, relax, read what the Goddess has to say - and get the Goddess some lovely cups of coffee along the way! :)

Well, yesterday was quite the rollercoaster for many crypto currencies. Huge fluctuations of price for the main culprits BTC and ETH is not a very promising sign of things to come. I believe that we are riding the very high end of the bull market and that we are very near to a correction - the hammer will come down.

I have strayed away from crypto in the past following days - I traded 85% of my ETH position when it arrived to 4,7k $ and traded around 70% of my BTC position when it struck 66k $ - so now, I am patiently waiting for the opportunity to strike.

But, while patiently waiting for the perfect moment (ETH at 1.700 $ 😂😂) in order to invest some more, I have still been gradually been trying to rack up the HIVEs in my portfolio - and boy oh boy, has it been a decision vindicated in the past couple of days!

HIVE is skyrocketting at the moment, pushing past the ATH on a number of occasions - and boy oh boy, does it feel good to be in the right place at the right time.

But that's the thing though - even though HIVE is at record highs in the past day or so, it still doesn't feel like it. I mean, I still think that we are only touching the surface of the potential for HIVE, I still think that 2 $ (or 2,3$) is extremely and unbelievably low price for our little lovely project.

And even there, by automatism, the words little lovely project came out of my mouth/keyboard by default. Because I still believe that HIVE is at its infancy levels, it is by all means - still little. And while I am pretty sure that it will continue being a lovely project, I have 0 doubts whatsoever that HIVE is destined for greatness - it will not be a little project for a long time now.

NFT's are a big part of it, sure - Spliterlands are doing its bid in propelling HIVE to the limelight, and lo as behold, as we are very close to breaking the top100 cryptocurrencies by marketcap, I don't think that we should all rest on our laurels.

Top 100 is not good enough. Top 100 is not good enough for HIVE. HIVE deserves its place among the top 20 cryptocurrencies by market cap. Is it possible to break the top 20? Ehh, yeah, it definitely is. Is it an easy task to do? Absolutely not. It is going to be a hard battle to improve upon the market cap day in, day out - especially when the limelight drops onto HIVE and when a lot of people will join in just to 'ride the bull' and sell a lot of those healthy profits that they are bound to enjoy.

However - and it really goes without saying - I think that the hardest work that is upon us is to use the opportunities that the bear market will provide us.

When the going gets tough, the tough gets going. And I have seen and gotten to know (well, by reading their articles at most) a group of outstanding individuals who are working tirelessly in an effort to bring HIVE to that coveted place of top 20 market cap CCurrencies that I know for sure that we are ready. Yes, the times are volatile. Yes, there are projects like $SAND that just skyrocketted and netted a lot of people millions of dollars in profits. Yes, there are a number of projects that will have a quicker rise up the charts.

But you know what? I choose stability over quick fame any time of the day. Because with a fast rise, comes an even faster fall. Stability doesn't have that. But it brings you serenity, so that when the going gets tough - you are pretty much well equipped (emotionally most of all) to face that challenge head-on.

So, to conclude my mumblings: Extremely volatile times in crypto - yes, and that was to be expected. You know what else is expected? To panic. Most of the people panic when they take a hit in the wallets.

Not us though. Not HIVE people. Not Ecency people. We will stand firm. We will prevail. We will work hard during the bull-market to make HIVE one hell of a platform. Yes, it already is - but we will never stop improving, because progress for the sake of progress must never come to a stop.

And one day, we will not break the top 20 market cap. Oh no. We will take our rightful place in the top 20 - and after that, we won't be getting out of it any time soon. 😊

That is it for this lovely Friday post guys! I really hope you enjoyed the read! What do you guys think, what does the future of crypto hold? Let the Goddess know your thoughts, don’t be shy! :D

Goddess loves you all, I will be back tomorrow to cap off this fantastic week,

xxxx
