One night stands are AWESOME!
Helloooooooooooo lovely readers of the Goddess Blog and welcome to this super Sunday that we have upon us in the company of your favorite Goddess!
Today I wanna share WHY I think that one night stands (ONS) are so freaking awesome and why you guys should definitely not feel morally questionable about doing them!
Without any further ado, let’s dig right into today’s read!
Having a one-night stand once in a while, or even every given Friday night, can actually be so good for you! Also, it’s often the best solution for those stretches of time when you know you aren’t in the best place for a relationship but need to get some. Because waiting for your happily ever after doesn’t mean you have to stay in all the time, eternally swiping left and right in a dating app. Honestly, sometimes a one-night stand can actually turn into a relationship, whether it be based in romance or a shared love of banging on demand.
So stop judging yourself for loving one-night stands and start remembering why they’re so damn great to begin with. In no particular order, here are the Goddess reasons for why ONS are freaking awesome!
1. You Are A Badass
One-night stands can be a reminder that you’re hot AF and totally worth picking up at a bar. They can be a reminder that you’re confident, funny, and have no problem connecting with strangers. One-night stands are, if nothing else, an adventure, and only certain kinds of people take to that sort of thing. You’re a badass.
2. Practice Makes Perfect
Like pizza, there is no such thing as too much sex. Well, sometimes you have to take a break because your body demands it, but in general, the more sex you have the better. Exploring what you like with new partners, and encountering all of their kinks and preferences, is good for your sex-positive soul.
3. You Get To Travel
OK, well maybe just your city. If you’re the one going to the other person’s place, a one-night stand can be really fun to wake up on the other side of town and try out their bagel place on the way home. People have a tendency to stick to their little bubbles. One-night stands offer a mostly harmless way to explore your city - or even beyond. Hell, I know I have traveled my fair share around the world thanks to some nice ONS :)))
4. NO SHAME
Alright, sometimes it feels a little awkward when you’re wearing heels on the subway at 10 a.m. on a Sunday morning, and you’re looking ragged AF. In those situations, you should look the person silently judging you right in the eye and give them a nice, big smile. You just got laid, who cares what people think? It’s not shameful to get yours.
5. Sometimes, They Turn Into Multiple Night Stands
Sometimes, when you least expect it, that one-night stand turns into something else. If you only want to hook up with someone once, that’s one thing, and that’s totally fair. But sometimes, having one-night stands is a good way to taste test someone to see if they could be something more significant. The one-night stands that turn into mini flings or straight up long-term relationships are the reason we all stay in this crazy dating game. Especially if the Sugar Daddy proves to be considering, generous and loving! :)
6. Did I Mention The Sex?
Seriously, did I? Because that’s definitely a thing. Sex is so good.
7. Great Stories
When a one-night stand is good, you have a great story to tell when the weekend is over. When the one-night stand is absolutely dreadful and weird, that can be even more entertaining for everyone else in your life. Everyone wins.
8. Not Everyone Is Ready To Settle Down
We really have to shut down the stigma of being single. Yes, when you want a relationship and don’t have one, it can suck. But some people really enjoy no-string-attached interactions with sexual partners. Not everyone is trying to meet someone, marry, and start procreating. Some people even want to stay single forever, and one-night stands might be a part of their lives for the rest of their lives, or at least the near future. Let people live, and let yourself live. Sugar Dating is awesome ladies and gents, and do not allow for anyone else to tell you different. :)
