Good morning lovely readers of the Goddess Blog and welcome to another day and another blog post by your one and only Goddess! For today I will be sharing several foods that absolutely every couple should consider bringing to their beds - I do think that this delicious pizza got me thinking of today’s post and I decided to write it, so be sure to enjoy the read and as always, drop a few coffees for your one and only Goddess along the way!
Food and sex are two of our most primal indulgences, so why not combine them? There are plenty of reasons, actually, but bringing a few edibles in between the sheets can also work wonders for your sex life. Wondering which foods are best able to unlock the carnal passion necessary for an extra-special round of lovemaking? The Goddess has just the post for you!
1. Chocolate Truffles
Bringing chocolate sauce into bed is a dry cleaning bill waiting to happen. Chocolate truffles, however, are pockets of velvety ganache enrobed in a thin chocolate casing. Allow the truffle to melt in your mouth, or break its shell gently with your teeth and let the ganache ooze along your tongue. See where I am going here? Just be careful you don’t smear them on the sheets. That won’t look good.
2. Honey
Try this: Close your eyes. Tell your partner to place a dab of honey somewhere on their body. You can't open your eyes until you find it – using only your lips and tongue, of course. Take turns until you can't take it anymore.
3. Champagne
There’s just something baller about sharing a bottle of bubbly in bed. The effervescence will tantalize your partner’s tongue. Alternate between sips and kisses. After a glass (or three), pour some down their body and then put yourself on cleanup duty. What kind of bottle to buy? Look for Cava, Prosecco, or traditional Champagne. Just don't drink too much bubbly or you'll end up too lightheaded for the main event.
4. Mango
This tropical fruit has an intoxicating aroma that can complement foreplay nicely. The fruit is sweet, but not overwhelmingly so, which allows the two of you to feed each other repeated bites.
5. Fig, Heated
A fig is actually a sheath surrounding about 1,500 tiny fruits, which are often thought of as seeds. Sound familiar? As an at-home dinner date comes to a close, preheat your oven to 350°F. Halve a few fresh figs lengthwise, lightly brush them with canola oil, place them on a baking sheet, and bake them until warmed through. It should take about seven minutes. Take the semi-sweet, almost creamy fruits to bed for dessert.
6. Sushi
It’s indulgent, luscious, and just the right amount of risky. Place a takeout order for a variety of high-quality sashimi or nigiri (that deep-fried, mayo-covered Godzilla roll isn’t going to make anyone feel sexy). Share a few bites in bed. If you want to take it to another level, you can arrange the sushi on her naked body and go from there, a practice known as nyotaimori.
As a bonus, fatty fish is good for sexual health. The omega-3 fatty acids in oily coldwater fish like salmon, mackerel, sardines, and tuna helps raise dopamine levels, which triggers arousal.
7. Oysters
They bear a striking resemblance to a certain part of the female anatomy. Their consistency is almost uncomfortably sensual. As long as you can keep cocktail sauce off the sheets, oysters are a slam dunk in the bedroom.
8. Berries
Not only is a handful of juicy berries inherently sexy, it can also serve a practical purpose in the bedroom. Strawberries are high in the B vitamin folate, which helps prevent birth defects, and vitamin C, a potential libido booster. Blueberries and blackberries contain compounds that are thought to relax blood vessels and improve circulation for a natural Viagra-like effect. They also fit conveniently in your partner's belly button.
9. Homemade Whipped Cream
Squirting aerosol-aided whipped cream over body parts: lame. Making your own whipped cream by hand: hot. The homemade stuff is lighter, fluffier, and tastes better than the super-sweet stuff. To make it, place a metal bowl inside a large bowl filled with ice. Fill the metal bowl with 2 cups of heavy cream and whisk until the cream thickens. It should take about 10 minutes. Yes, it requires a little elbow grease, but isn’t your date worth it? (Plus, you can do this ahead of time and chill it in the fridge.)
That is itttt for today’s food friendly post ladies and gents!
I hope you learned a quick thing or two from your Goddess.
I will be back tomorrow to kick-start the weekend in a proper way,
Have a great day ahead of youuuu
