Back from Berlin!
Hellooooo dear readers of the Goddess Blog and welcome to this lovely Friday with your one and only Goddess! The Goddess is back - yesterday eveni I finished my Berlin stay. I am already in Belgrade and I have to say... Berlin was awesome!!
I went there because I got hired as a hostess for a trade fair exhibition for fruits and vegetables called Fruit Logistica. People said that this fair was one of the largest in the world for fruits and vegetables - so normally I was honored and intrigued by participating in it!
First thing's first - the weather was absolutely SPOT ON in Berlin! 8-10 degrees Celsius, no rain (which is rare lol) so.. a solid 7/10 for the weather during these 3 days!
The trade fair took place at the Messe Berlin, an absolutely gigantic set of buildings where the exhibitors showcased their products - the fair had more than 2000 exhibitors from all over the world with more than 50.000 visitors as well!
I did not get to see every hall - I think there were something like 26 halls, two floors altogether - but I did manage to do some nice steps along the way of my hostessing! 😁
I got hired as a hostess for an Italian company that does a lot of exports and imports - and their main focus was getting a customer from India that can supply them with huge quantities of mangoes.
Now, have in mind that I am a mango lover - but the mangoes that I got the chance to try at the fair.. oh my God. Nothing comes close to this. No mango I have ever bought in Serbia is even close to the mangoes that I got to eat at the fair! Lets just say that I stuffed myself with that delicious yellow fruit all the way 🤣🤣
A lot of meetings took place - and the directors and managers of the Italian company were quite happy with the turnout to their stand - albeit they said that in previous years the turnout was much bigger, but what can you do - Covid19 is still lurking in the shadows of the people's mentality I suppose 😊
Basically my job was quite easy - welcome the guests/partners/visitors of the stand, get them the person that they have scheduled a meeting with, and voila - they are good to go! The first two days were a bit hectic, I have to say - but today for the last day of the trade fair all of us had some free time so I was able to go around a bit and see some of the wonderful stand designs that the exhibitors brought to Berlin!
My top pick? The absolutely GORGEOUS Eiffel Tower made of fruits and vegetables!!
I was absolutely AMAZED by this Fruit and Vegetable Eiffel Tower! It really blew my mind! And all of these baskets with the tropical fruits, the dragon fruits.. absolutely amazed and bewildered with it all! I had a wonderful, wonderful time.
I would absolutely LOVE to have an opportunity to visit the trade fair again next year. I love fruits and vegetables - and after this fair, I have to say that I am absolutely ADORING fruits and vegetables from now on! 😁
And that is it for today’s first after Berlin post, I hope you all had a great week!
Goddess will be back tomorrow with a new post to finish up this week,
Peace and love y’all,
xxxx
